Ju Won Chung is a graphic, furniture, and jewellery designer currently studying at George Brown College.
She attended the prestigious, “Seoul-Art High School,” which was built for training professional artists in Korea. During her first year, she learned the five basic art skills: layout-design, live–painting, sculpture, pencil drawing, and Korean–traditional art. However, during her second year, she focused her studies on industrial design. The other major options at her school included fine art, sculpture, and Korean traditional art.
After graduating from high school, Ju Won moved with her family to San Francisco, California. Both parents worked for the Korean Education Ministry Consulate. This presented Ju Won with the opportunity to work under the previous Korean President Mu Hyan Roh’s administrative vice-minister in 2003.
